Please join Ned McNally, State Street Investment Management, and Neal Loftus, Apollo Global Management, as they define private markets, discuss the types of private markets investments we are likely to see in retirement plans in the near future, and discuss ways we can expect to see private markets implemented in defined contribution plans.
Speaker #1: Neal Loftus
Mr. Loftus joined Apollo in 2022 in the Client & Product Services team as Principal, Institutional RIA Sales. Prior to that time, Mr. Loftus was a Director at Barings from January 2019 to July 2022. Prior to that, Mr. Loftus was a Director of Fixed Income at PT Asset Management from March 2015 to December 2018. Prior to that, Mr. Loftus was a Internal Sales Consultant for Invesco from December 2011 to March 2015. Mr. Loftus is a CAIA charterholder, serves as the Co-President of CAIA’s Chicago chapter, and graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a BA in Finance.
Speaker #2: Ned McNally
Ned is a Senior Retirement Director for State Street Global Advisors in the Defined Contribution Intermediary Group. He is responsible for developing and maintaining key DC relationships in the Midwest with specialist advisors, home offices, and record keeping sales teams.
Prior to joining State Street, Ned was the Director and National Sales Manager for UBS Asset Management where he was a player/coach focusing on all distribution efforts for third party relationships including DCIO, retail, and sub-advisory channels. Prior to UBS, Ned served in a variety of sales and leadership roles at JP Morgan Asset Management, Aurora Investment Management and at Deutsche Asset Management where he began his career in 2003. Ned has a MBA from the DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a BA in English from Georgetown University.
