“Plan Leakage” refers to several types of withdrawals from retirement accounts made prior to normal retirement age and used for non-retirement purposes. Plan leakage can reduce retirement readiness for participants by depleting their retirement assets and potentially triggering additional tax and penalty costs. This type of activity typically peaks during periods of market volatility or economic downturns. This webinar will discuss what plan sponsors can do to “recession proof” their retirement plans.
