The Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS) is a comprehensive system of correction programs developed by the IRS to help employers fix unintentional errors that have occurred in the maintenance of their retirement plans. Typically addressed in guidance provided by the IRS, Congress has stepped up in SECURE 2.0 to direct the IRS to update and expand correction opportunities. Always relevant, this session will provide discussion and case studies on Rev. Proc. 2021-30 and the new SECURE 2.0 provisions.
